I've been blessed to have experience both in theatre as well as fashion. Theatre challenges me to think creatively outside the box (how can this actress do a 10 second quick-change out of this corset into a modern garment?  How can I make this size 20 costume into a size 2 without permanently altering this 30 year old garment? How can I recreate this fabric in the reference picture on a budget?) and I enjoy using that same outside-the-box thinking in my non-theatrical work as well.
