Pleated Circle Skirt

In the endeavor to make my wardrobe more sustainable, more vintage, and more of a capsule (so everything matches everything), I created this skirt to add to my summer wardrobe.

The pattern is a full circle skirt, doubled to my waist, and pleated down to size. It closes in the front with buttons all the way down, and has hidden side seam pockets.

To remain sustainable: the fabric was thrifted from an old curtain, and the notions were purchased from a local small business. As there is still fabric leftover, I plan to eventually make a matching top.
