Wool Circle Skirt

A simple design; a full circle skirt. Made out of a beautiful navy wool blend from my stash. The fabric is incredibly heavy, so I added a horsehair braid to the hem to add a bit of volume. The hem was then hand-stitched (which took hours) with small, invisible stitches.

It closes with an invisible zip and a wooden button. There are hidden side-seam pockets made with a lining fabric so they don't add any extra weight or bulk.

I did a burn test and a bleach test on a scrap of the fabric and can determine that it is not 100% wool, but does contain some wool.
